So it’s summer time again!
It’s time to enjoy the smell of a campfire burning, cooking hamburgers and the stench of my Zachary’s (my youngest son) plastic dinosaur burning because his older brother threw it in the fire…
Sitting under the hot sun and blue skies while we rest and recover, or if you’re like me, you will be getting dragged behind a boat on a waterski, tube , or well… anything for that matter. 🙂
I don’t think we should be ignoring our mental health after these last couple of years of pandemic lockdowns and now with inflation the way it is, we need to find a balance. Besides getting outdoors…
Here are 3 tips that I am using right now:
1) Go through your budget and pay for the holiday instead of using credit.
2) Look at your spending and see if there is a spot you can save money rather than spending it.
3) Getting a second opinion on your investments to see if they are protected properly (that means you should be calling me and referring all your friends and family!!)
Here’s why:
There is talk about a recession on the horizon. You need to be prepared for it. That means more than just putting off buying all those things that you have always wanted because you may not be able to handle it. (Spoiler alert – sorry.)
There is good news!
People that prepare for recessions by making small adjustments to their budgets and protecting their assets can actually thrive during recessions.
You can too!
